Oxford University provides world-class research and education to benefit society on a local, regional, national and global scale. Capitec were commissioned to complete a Hard FM compliance review, across a sample number of buildings from their large estate.
This involved meeting with multiple stakeholders including estates staff and department staff, and carrying out an in-depth compliance review, on technical disciplines such as water hygiene, fire, asbestos, ventilation, electrical services, gas, pressure systems, LOLER, access and security systems, cooling and refrigeration, contractor control, health and safety, working at height, noise management, confined spaces and general maintenance management.
Close communication between all parties, meant that the compliance arrangements between estates and the users was better understood and assessed accordingly.
