Project Management

Project Management in the NHS

Our clients are our priority and we take ownership of a project, giving it full commitment. A project philosophy is developed that focuses on results and all participants are incorporated as important members of the team. This achieves a synergy and commitment which in turn produces results that exceed the expectations of our clients.

We believe that successful partnering with our clients is about more than just a list of services. By being sensitive to both the national and local political needs and the differing agendas of an organisation, our project managers provide an effective interface between all parties because they have an in-depth understanding of both the healthcare and estates requirements of the project. We provide peace of mind for our clients, who can feel confident that any problems and complications have been removed from them by professionals who will deliver the project to successful completion.

Capitec’s project management service takes a development scheme from strategic outline to full business case and on to project implementation and occupation by the clinical users of the project. We use our expertise to identify the viability of the scheme at an early stage, either through public or private finance procurement. Whatever the development, we manage it to minimise the risk to our clients and demonstrate real additional value by ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget and to exacting quality standards.

Additionally our services encompass the following:

  • business case development, from feasibility to Outline and Full Business Case
  • appointment, management and control of design teams
  • feasibility studies
  • design management and coordination
  • technical verification of designs
  • value engineering
